Funeral service for Rev. Clarence Ruff Sr., 94, will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Carlton L. Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery with Military Honors. Rev. Ruff will lie in repose one hour prior to service at the church. Viewing will be today 1-7 p.m. with a Wake from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include Major Charles Bernard (Lillie), of Summerville, S.C., Brenda Ruff Smith (Carey), of Anniston, Cassandra Ruff Chatman (Harold), of Anniston, Clarence Ruff, Jr. (Olivia), of Lexington, S.C.; sister, Eula Lee Heflin,18 grandchildren; 15 great-grand-children; four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Will and Mary Ruff; sisters and brothers, Annie Lue, Beaulah, Blake, Mary-Etta Willie, Marie, Charlie, Florence, Catherine, Josephine, Young, Alford and Milford.
