Funeral service for Cora Lee Webb, 96, of Anniston, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Tim Grimes and the Rev. Judy Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Webb gained her heavenly reward on April 25, 2015 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Peace, Peggy Webb, Kathy (Travis) Angle, all of Anniston and Diane Ireland, of Eastaboga; three sons, Charles (Shonnie) Webb, of Ohatchee, Joe (Phyllis) Webb, of Anniston and Randel (Frances) Webb, of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Henry (Laura) Osborne, of Lanett; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Webb is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis W. Webb; two daughters, Barbara J. Rumer and Vivian E. Webb; six brothers; one sister; father, William Bose Osborne and mother, Mary A. Osborne. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Mrs. Webb was a native of Chambers County and a resident of Calhoun County for most of her life. She was of the Holiness faith. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the physicians who provided excellent care, the entire staff of Stringfellow Hospital especially the staff in ICU for the care provided, words of comfort and encouragement and concerns for our family and friends and for the support and prayers shown during this difficult time.
