Funeral service for Creola Caver Stoudemire, 87, will be on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where Dr. Quinton P. Woods, Pastor, officiating and the Rev. James T. Caver, eulogist. Interment will follow at Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Stoudemire transitioned on September 20, 2014 at Noland Hospital, Anniston. Mrs. Stoudemire remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her services. Mrs. Stoudemire was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Anniston High School. She is survived by her children, Yvonne (Samuel) Phillips Sr., of Anniston, Lola (E. Larry) Cook, of Prattville and Fred (Anna) Stoudemire, of Oxford; grandchildren, Samuel (Cassandra) Phillips Jr., of Columbus, Ga., Dekaslyn Cook Robinson, of Phenix City, Adrain Frederick, Adina Phillips Peoples, of Anniston, La'Shon Cook (Soloman) Green, Larry D. Cook, of Palm Harbor, Fla., Fred (Shelly) Stoudemire III, of Welsley, Mass., Stephanie Phillips, of Jacksonville and Marcus (Katie) Stoudemire, of Atlanta, Ga.; 17 great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sister-by-law, Mary A. Caver, of Anniston; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Lois Caver; husband, Fred Stoudemire Sr.; siblings, Willie James Caver, Louise Davis, Booker T.
