Curtis Daniel Thomas, 80, passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2016. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on January 13, 2016 at the Munford Church of Christ with Minister Jeff Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on January 12, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. and January 13, 2016 from 12- 1 pm. Curt was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Izora Thomas and brothers Claude Thomas Jr. and Norman Miller. He is survived by his wife, Betty Thomas; son, Kevin Thomas (Sabrina); granddaughter, Kendall Thomas; sisters, Virginia Adams and Ruby Clark (William); brother, C. Howard Thomas (Barbara). Curt served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Anniston Army Depot with 25 years of service. He was an active member of the Munford Church of Christ. Active Pallbearers will be Curt's nephews, Tom Adams, David Clark, Dennis Clark, Larry Miller, Keith Thomas, Tim Thomas and Tracy Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers include Howard Bigbee, Ralph Carter, Shane Clark, Blake Harris, Bobby Hayes, Dr. Kaylid Khan, Jerry Lackey, Dr. Charles Lambert, John Murrell, Jimmy Nelson, Howard Nowland, Travis Oglesby, Don Stephens, Ray Sirmon, Jeff Stephens and Harvey Wright.
