Surrounded by family, Curtis Henry Heath, 68, was called home on Saturday, October 17, 2015. A life-long resident of Calhoun County, he was a self-employed brick layer who lived faithfully by the Bible and loved being a Pawpaw. Mr. Heath was a man of faith who loved and served our Lord as a devout follower of Jesus. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Heath; his children, Kathy Bevans, Shane (Lisa) Pippin, Curtis Dale (Amy) Heath, Amy (Derek) Webb and Sawyer Pippin; 9 blessed grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Heath; one sister, Gail Bundrum and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Heath was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruby Heath; his brother, Edfort Heath and his sister, Edna Robinson. The family is extremely grateful for the continued care during Mr. Heath's illness and would like to extend a special thanks to friends Kenneth and Brenda Lockridge, Dr. Reddy and Alacare Home Health. Funeral service for Mr. Heath will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 2 p.m. at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens following the service. Online Condolences may be made to the family at K.L.
