Funeral service for Curtis Lee Hunt, Jr., 63, will be on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Angelo Groce, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. A wake will be this evening 6 - 8 at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry. Mr. Hunt passed away on March 14, 2016 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hunt's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Hunt graduated 1970 from Calhoun County Training School. He served in the U.S. Army and worked 44 years for Department of Defense at the Anniston Army Depot. Deacon Hunt served faithfully in many capacities at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Hunt; sons, Curtis (Tina), Cordell (Cynthia) and Corey (LaToya); grandchildren, Chelsi, Tyia, Kiara, Lyric, Tyler, Tylea, Tyrin, TyAsha, Tylen and Kaylan; adopted grandchildren, Joshua, Sienna, Julian, Imari, LJ, LaTia and Aliyah; siblings, Jerome (Jullian) Hunt, Terry (Peggy) Hunt and Dorothy (Jesse) Nelson; mother-in-law, Mamie Terry; brothers-in-law, Terry Dodd (Joann), James Moore (Barbara) and William Moore (Chinelle); other relatives and friends.
