With sorrow, we announce the death of Curtis Mallory, on Friday evening, Jan. 29, 2016. He was born in Anniston, Ala., where he lived until 1957 when he moved to the Birmingham Ala. area. Curtis founded and operated Mallory Cooling & Heating until his late 80's. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving in World War II. Curtis will be remembered for his willingness to help his children and for his love for dancing. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Sain (Randy), Nancy Watkins and Jane Turner (Kim); eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 - 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Ala., immediately followed by the 11 a.m. funeral service in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel. The graveside service will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at New Highland Cemetery in Anniston, Alabama.
