Funeral service for Daisy B. Haynes, 91, will be Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Gray Brown Service with the Rev. Richard Walker and the Rev. Albert Argo officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Haynes passed away December 1, 2015 in Anniston. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Haynes; son, Roger Haynes; stepson, Bobby Haynes and stepdaughter, Brenda Hamilton; sisters, Thelma Collier and Agnes Skinner; brothers, Clyde Lewis and Simmie Lewis; grandchildren, Michael E. Haynes II, Kelli Scott, Brandon Haynes, Michelle Marchione and Breaonna Haynes; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Daisy Haynes is preceded in death by her husband, A.Z. Haynes; mother and father Sim Lewis and Leona Lewis and four brothers. Pallbearers will be Michael E. Haynes II, Brandon Haynes, Frank Scott, Joe Marchione, Steve Haynes and Jeff Driggers. Honorary pallbearers will be Clyde Lewis, Simmie Lewis, Tim Haynes and Jeffrey Driggers. Mrs. Haynes was born in Calhoun County where she spent most of her life engaged with her family, faith and community. She was an active member of Woodland Park Baptist Church and enjoyed fellowship at the Senior Center in Anniston for many years prior to moving to Powder Springs, Ga. with her daughter where she continued to grow in faith and friendship at Macland Baptist Church and Austell Senior Center. In her younger years she enjoyed helping fellow seniors in the community providing them with rides and companionship. Later in life she enjoyed the company of her son and his family and watching her great grandchildren at play.
