Mr. David Alvin Henson, 50, passed away on July 22, 2017, after a short illness. David is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey David Henson and William David Henson; his sisters, Susan Henson and Rita Ledbetter (Kenneth); his brother, Robert Henson (Alisha), and a very special friend, Robin Kirby. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Henson and Mae Henson, of Oxford. David was born in 1967, attended Oxford High School, and worked at the Anniston Army Depot for 29 years, where he retired in 2016. He was an avid Alabama football fan andNASCAR fan. He also enjoyed working out and weight lifting and being a member of Caldwell Masonic Lodge, #502 in Heflin. A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. The Rev. Judge Stringer III and the Rev. Chris Spurlin will be officiating. Special thanks to Lakeside Hospice and Compassus Hospice.
