Graveside service for Mr. David Mancel Gibbs, 76, will be at 11 a..m., Monday, November 3, 2014, at Maple Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Monday 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Mr. Gibbs passed away October 31, 2014 at RMC in Anniston. Mr. Gibbs is survived by his wife, Margie Gibbs; son, Keith (Kelley) Gibbs, of Roanoke, Vance (Rebecca) Parris, of Southside and Lance Parris, of Talladega; sisters, Loretta Sloan, of Hokes Bluff, Mary Sue McCray, of Altoona, Belinda (Rick) Faulkner, of Cleveland; brothers, Vernell (Mary Kate) Gibbs, of Altoona, Tommy (Martha) Gibbs, of Altoona, 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Gibbs was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Members of the 225th CBCS. Mr. Gibbs served in the Alabama Air National Guard for 41 years and worked with the Guards for 23 years as a service technician.
