Funeral service for Mr. David "Wayne" Brown, 61, will be Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Rabbittown Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Burns officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 5 - 7 p.m. Burial will be in Rabbittown Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Brown died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at RMC in Anniston. He is survived by his wife, Connie Brown, of Rabbittown; his daughter, Jennifer (Clayton) Cantrell, of Fort Drum, NY; two sons, Jerry Brown, of Rabbittown and Michael Brown, of DeArmanville; six grandchildren, Hannah Brown, Kayla Brown, Hailey Brown, Carlee Brown, Jaden Cantrell and Cheyenne Law; three sisters, Vicky (Steve) Cummings, of Alexander City, Debra (Ken) Vaughn, of Roanoke and Runita Weldon, of Valley; one brother, Bert Brown, of Anniston; a brother-in-law, Larry Kaylor, of Roanoke; his step-father, Joe Woodlee, of Temple and his four legged son, Taco. Pallbearers will be Roger Cheatwood, Jeff Brown, Tim Brown, Faron Hughes and Steve Cummings. Mr. Brown was a Baptist by faith and he owned Wayne Brown roofing for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Woodlee; his father, Lloyd Brown; three sisters, Patricia Ann Kaylor, Lynn Woody and Allison Leemaster Brown.
