WEAVER — Funeral services for Deborah "Debbie" Alexander, 55, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. David Morris officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Alexander died Monday at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband of 15 years, James "Jim" Alexander; one daughter, Elizabeth Annette Alexander; a sister, Shirley Fowler; a niece, Elizabeth Fowler; a nephew, Kenneth Fowler; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mrs. Alexander is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Mrs. Alexander was a native of Anniston and a resident of Weaver for the past 10 years. She was a supervisor for 8 years with the Girl Scouts and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 924. She was a loyal friend to all and loved by many.
