Oklahoma City - A memorial service for Deborah Owen Robinson, 60, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Heflin, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2013, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Reverend Dr. Roland Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. Deborah entered Heaven into the arms of our Lord and Savior on September 23, 2013 in Oklahoma City, reuniting with her son, William D. "Rob" Robinson and her mother, Helen Rich Owen. Deborah was raised in Heflin and had lived away from the area since 1983. Deborah was a gifted school teacher for many years in the Heflin and Pensacola, Fla. school systems. She had lived in Oklahoma City for the past 6 years. Deborah was a dedicated servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend and will be missed by all of her loved ones. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Noel Stephens, of Oklahoma City; father, Kayo Owen of Anniston; sister, Beth Davis of Fayetteville, Ga.; brothers, Keith Owen of Opelika and Scott Owen of Fayetteville, Ga. and numerous nieces and nephews.
