Debra "Deb" Holley English, 62 of Jacksonville went home to be with her heavenly father on November 15, 2017. Born into this earthly world on July 2, 1955 she was a true servant of God. Mrs. Deb was a beautician by trade but her talents were limitless. She enjoyed being a transportation specialist for Calhoun County School System, realtor, florist and event planner. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williams where her ability to feed the masses and keep her church beautifully decorated, especially during the Holiday Season did not go unnoticed. Mrs. Deb loved to travel and take long "Road Trips" with friends but it was with her grandchildren that she found her greatest joys. Watching her grandchildren play sports always made her smile. She was and is their biggest fan. Mrs. Deb took great pride in being a wife, mother, friend and nana to all. Mrs. Deb is survived by her husband of 44 years John M. English; son John E. English (Brenna); daughters Kristy Beason (Randy) and Jamie Freeman (Jacob) all of Jacksonville. She is also survived by one sister Brenda Hodge (Mike) of Guntersville; mother Nora Holley of Anniston and her seven grandchildren Adam Freeman, Austin English, Sydney Beason, Bryce Freeman, Brayden English, Sarah Beth Freeman and Landon Beason. She is preceded in death by her father Willie E. Holley. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11 am at The First Baptist Church of Williams with the Rev. Chris Thomas and Rev. Bob McLeod officiating. Graveside services will follow in Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, November the 17, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the church. Pallbearers will include Mike Duncan, Lamar Freeman, Christopher Hodge, Bill Prickett, Blake Shew and Shaun Williamson.
