Delores "Del" Murray Allen, 66, passed away March 18, 2017 at her home. She is survived by two sons, Daniel Mason and Michael Mason; step-daughter, Carrie Davis (Jed Jensen) and step-son Craig (Ilona) Allen; step-mother Elizabeth Murray, and siblings Patricia Wheeler, Patrick (Debbie) Murray, Pam (Phillip) Noah, Richard Murray, Robert (Kim) Murray, Angie (Willie) Dothard, Holley Murray and brother David Dodd; grandchildren Dallas, Haven, Kailen, and Layla; step-grandchildren, Blake, Maryna, Mason, Megan and Araya; step-great-grandchild, Sylvia Snow, and numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service for family will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at White's Gap Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Allen; father C.B. Murray; brother, Jake Murray; mother, Betty Dodd, and sisters, Debbie Benson and Lori Byers. Del was a graduate of Jacksonville High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. She was a Christian, an avid reader, and supporter of the League for Animal Welfare. She loved spending time with her fur babies, Boots, Tippy, and Precious. Special thanks to New Beacon Hospice.
