A celebration of life for DeWayne Dover, 52, will be from 6 - 8 Thursday night at Mt. View Baptist Church in Alexandria. Mr. Dover passed away Friday, September 2, 2016, at St. Vincents Hospital in Birmingham. Survivors include his mother, Eyvonne Dover; two sisters, Pamela (Bubba) Woodall and Wendy (Jason) Kitchens; four nephews and one grand-niece. Mr. Dover is preceded in death by his wife, Pam Freeman Dover, and his father, Donald Milton Dover. Mr.Dover was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County, a graduate of Ohatchee High School and former employee of BAE systems. He loved spending time at the dirt track, loved fishing and loved his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alabama Organ Center.
