Funeral service for Doris Jean Jinks, 67 of Gadsden will be Friday at 1:00 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Earl Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Jinks passed away November 3 in Anniston. Survivors include her partner Walter Bates, daughter Tina Hinesley, sons Chris Jinks (Bertie), James Allen Jinks (Teresa), sister Lucille Hulsey, brother Danny Turley, grandchildren Toby Jinks, Landon McDonald, Courtney Hinesley, Ciji Kiker, Ayla Harper, Dar Harper, great grandchildren Brantley Hinesley, Ryan Jinks and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jinks is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Dorothy Turley, sisters Geraldine (Dink) Turley, Debra T. McClellan, Imogene Turley, Jeanette Turley. Pallbearers will be Dar Harper, Toby Jinks, Shannon Deese, Kevin Johnson, Dominick Tuttle, Chris Letterman. Mrs. Jinks was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Etowah County. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. Mrs. Jinks was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother aunt and sister. Online condolences made at www.graybrown service.com
