Funeral service for Mr. Dwayne Stewart, 63, will be 1 p.m. Saturday from the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church with the Dr. Walter J.Turner officiating. Interment will follow th the New Liberty Cemetery. Mr. Stewart died Friday at his residence. Dwayne served in the United States Army for two years and later joined the United States Army Reserve. He received an honorable discharge from both the United States Army and the United States Army Reserve. Following Dwayne's military career, he was employed at the Anniston Army Depot where he retired after 40 years. Dwayne was also an active member of the American Legion Post 0312. To remember and cherish his everlasting love, his son, Jarmarco Stewart; three sisters, Dr. Earlene Stewart(Dr. John) ,of Lakewood, Calif., Charlotte Acklin Nealy,of Anniston, Sandra A.Ackin, of Ontario,Calif.; three nephews, Preston F. Golston(Sandy),of Scottsdale,Ariz., Eric D. Golston, of Lakewood Calif. and Cederic Collins, of Atlanta Ga.; two great nephews, Delione F. Golston and Eric D. Golston II, both of Long Beach,Calif. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his son,Tarvers Stewart, parents John and Iona Acklin; sister Beverly Acklin Collins. The family will receive friends at the home of Charlotte Acklin Nealy, 2528 Noble Street. The funeral procession will also depart from 2528 Noble Street.
