Funeral service for Earl Romeo Morris, 82, will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul CME Church where the Rev. Stephen R. Davis Sr. is pastor, the Rev. Joseph Stafford Rowser Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Morris passed away on July 20, 2015. Mr. Morris's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Morris was educated in Jacksonville, he served as Sunday School Superindent, he formed Morris and Sons Construction Company and was passionate for hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Seclonia Morris; sons, Anthony, Travis (Freida), Eric (Cynthia) and Byron (Jenniffer); siblings, Eloise Canzater, of Birmingham, Julia (James) Harris, of Elmhurst, N.Y., Tommy Morris, of Jacksonville; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
