A graveside service for Edna Ruth Carr, 84, will be Friday, January 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Hollis Martin officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Mrs. Carr passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Gadsden R.M.C. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Jimmy Eugene Carr; her daughter, Kim (Greg) McFall; her sister, Glenda Stephens; her brothers, James Harrelson, Colvin Harrelson, Guin Harrelson, Jerry Harrelson; her grandsons, Caleb and Landon McFall, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Carr was born on December 2, 1932 in Calhoun County to Luther and Dovie Harrelson. She worked at Federal Mogul for over twenty years until her retirement. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed dearly.She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Dovie Harrelson; and her brothers, Bill, Bobby, Leon, and Paul Harrelson.
