Funeral service for Mr. Elbert 'Ubby' Nunnally, 89, will be Monday, March 10, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home with Pastors Jason Grissom, Jerry Rhineheart and Jason King officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today, March 9, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home and also an hour prior to the service. Mr. Nunnally passed away on March 7, 2014 at RMC. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Agnes Nunnally; sons, Ronald Grissom, Alan Nunnally and Tim Nunnally; grandchildren, Wayne McCulley (Mary), Sarah Summers (Mike), Bobby McCulley, Jason Grissom (Brandy) and Dustin Grissom (Courtney) and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Collin and Nancy Nunnally and 6 brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Jim Justice, Billy Key, James Freeman, Dustin Grissom, John Poore and John Kent. Mr. Nunnally was the owner and operator of the Oxford Chevron for 29 years. He served his country proudly in the Navy and fought in World War II. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
