Service for Elder Willie James Esters 83, will be on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at noon at New Life Christian Center where Bishop F.R. Traylor is pastor, Chief Apostle W.T. Traylor officiating. Interment with Military honors will follow in Old Field Cemetery. Mr. Esters passed away on March 11, 2015 at Bill Nichols Veterans Home. Elder Esters's remains will arrive at the church two hours prior to his service. Elder Esters retired from the U. S. Army, he served as Secretary of the Ministers, Sunday School Teacher and also a Associate Minister. Survivors include his daughter, Lessie (Gerald) Adair, of Lineville; sisters, Alene Ford, Elizabeth Hobdy, of Ashland; grandson, Devante Hicks; great- granddaughter, Teyonna Hicks; other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his parents, Bradford and Martha Esters; siblings, Sefus, Horace Esters, Tyler Phillips, Pecola Brown, Annie L.
