Funeral service for Eleanor McNutt Anderson, 95, will be Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Strandlund officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Anderson passed away on Thursday at her residence. Survivors include her son, Brian Anderson (Gina); daughters-in-law, Sue Anderson and Peggy Anderson; grandchildren, Kevin Anderson, Abby Bass, Kyle Anderson, and Clay Anderson; great-grandchildren, Riley Bass, Jackson Bass, and Hailey Anderson; sister, Joyce McNutt; sisters-in-law, Frances McNutt, Joy Busby, and Allie Stewart; brother-in- law, W.C. Peinhardt; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kyle Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Clay Anderson, Charles Busby, Troy Busby, and Anthony Taylor. Mrs. Anderson was a resident of Oxford since 1950. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Anniston. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Anderson; sons, Michael Anderson and Dan Anderson; a grandson, Tyler Anderson. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Anniston or to Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 142 Bethlehem Church Rd., Oxford, AL 36203.
