Oxford - Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Isbell, 68, will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with the Rev. John Larry Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Isbell passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. She was a Clay County native and lived her earlier life in Anniston where she graduated from Anniston High School. Later on, Mrs. Isbell moved to Oxford and lived there most of her life. She was a resident of the Oxford House Senior Living Center and an active participant in the many programs enjoyed by its residents. Mrs. Isbell is survived by one brother, James Clinton Birchfield Jr. (Irene) of Munford; one niece, Kelly Birchfield Chastain (Chris) of Oxford; three nephews, Charlie Birchfield (Aimee) of Oxford, Chris Birchfield (Shelley) of Oxford and Billy Birchfield (Charmain) of Lineville; five great-nieces and four great-nephews. Mrs. Isbell was preceded in death by her parents, James Clinton Birchfield Sr. and Ann Sewell Birchfield and her infant son, Barry Dwain Dunston. Pallbearers will be Chris Chastain, Austin Chastain, Charlie Birchfield, Chris Birchfield, Billy Birchfield and Myles Gregory.
