Emma Jean Wilkins, 71, died On February 24, 2017. She was born the daughter of Isaiah and Mary Wilkins on December 20, 1945 in Anniston. Jean had one son that she loved and cherished, Landon Isaiah Wilkins. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Her siblings are William Thomas Wilkins (deceased), Virginia Hinto, of N. Lithonia, Ga., Finney Wilkins, of Atlanta, Ga., Isaiah Wilkins Jr. (deceased), Hyghe Wilkins, of Lithonia, Ga., Jeffrey Wilkins (deceased), and Alice Edwards, of Atlanta, Ga. She graduated from Cobb High School, and St. Thomas Aquinas Nursing School in Nashville, Tenn. She was baptized and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Anniston her entire life. Jean was a dedicated volunteer at the church. Jean retired from Regional Medical Center in Anniston where she served as a registered professional nurse. She received numerous awards during her career. Memorial service will be Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Mt.
