Funeral service for Ethel Lois Porter, 88, will be on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Walter J. Turner Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in New Liberty Cemetery. Mrs. Porter passed away on October 2, 2015. Mrs. Porter's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley M. (Phillip) Moore and Jacquella L. Ellington; sons, Eddie L. (Annette) Leonard Sr. and Courtney D. (Angela) Ellington; extended family, Jacqueline Thompson, Carla (Cedric) Calloway and Ernie Ellington; grandchildren, Jerry (Anita), Eddie (Renita), Jeffrey (M.J.), Twana (Marvin), Wyteria, Shemika (Frankie), James III, Waltina (Pete), Duke B. (Lynette), LaRe, Darrell, Kevin, Allison, Arthur Lee (Shonda), Shilena (Chris), William Jr., Rodney, Adrianna (Gary), Curtis, Rashone, Essie, Chase and Kayden; 38 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great- grandchildren; daughter in-law, Alice Porter; in-laws, Millie Smith, Roberta Leonard and Johnny Meadows Jr.; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Mary Francis Glasper Leonard; husband, James Parrish Porter Sr.; son, James Parrish Porter Jr.; grandsons, Reginald Moore and Cameran J.
