Eulene Perry Powell was born in Clay County on February 10, 1920 to Frank and Eula Haynie. She resided with her late husband in Oxford, a home builder, Wallace Perry. They contributed much to the community with her generous spirit and love for each soul, due to the Gospel of Jesus of which they lived. Eulene and Wallace had church in their home for 50 years. A living testimony that the way Jesus planned His church, could be continued even in these times. Mrs. Powell is Survived by her daughter, Helen Jane Ott Schober and son, William Ray Perry; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Mrs. Powell is preceded in death by her husbands, Wallace Perry and J.T. Powell and her son, Eugene Perry. Funeral service for Mrs. Powell will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Charles Vaughn and Louise Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens.
