Eva Gallahar Gibson, 79, was released from her earthly body on October 18, 2015 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 14, 1936 and was the youngest daughter of J.C. and Nina Gallahar Sr. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Charles Gentry, of Jacksonville, Ala.; daughter and son- in-law, Beth and Michael Francis, of Cincinnati; son and daughter, Jonathan and Julie Gibson, of Savannah, Ga.; six grandchildren, Jenny Medina and her husband, Robert, of SanAntonio, Texas , ET 2 Page Gibson USN proudly serving on the USS Blue Ridge in Japan, his wife Samantha, of New Jersey and Abigail, William, Ella and Joshua Gibson, of Savannah, Ga.; one great-grandchild, Kolton Gibson, of New Jersey. She was involved in the radio industry in Anniston area for decades. In lieu of flowers donations to the local humane society in Eva's name would be greatly appreciated. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 21, 2015, 11 a.m. at the Forestlawn Mausoleum Chapel with Joshua Prater officiating.
