Funeral service for Mrs. F. Virginia Newsome Paris Frady, 89, will be on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at noon at Miller Funeral Home. Brother Kenneth Hutto and Brother Jerry Cobb will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends today, February 1, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Mrs. Frady passed away at her home on Monday, January 30, 2017. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Watts (Freddy) and Shirley Baker (Gerald); grandchildren, Renee Strength, Stephanie Horton, Britt Ballenger (Natacha), Jenny Reynolds, and Melissa Hanson (Charlie); nine great- grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister in law, Quintell Newsome; several nieces; one nephew and four loving caregivers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wyatt Newsome and Rosa Carter Newsome; sister, Clora Jewell; brother, Herman Newsome; husband, Ernest Frady and husband and father of her children, Cecil Paris. Pallbearers will be John Jewell, James Freeman, Jack Lindley, Wayne Hollingsworth, Britt Ballenger and Donald Jones. Mrs. Frady was a 1945 graduate of Oxford High School. She retired as a machinist from Southern Tool. Mrs. Frady was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, meeting new people and spending all the time she could with her family and friends. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend.
