Pallbearers will be Jason Shelton, Johnathan Panell, Matt Gaines, Tim Williams, Tyler Shelton, Reid Shelton, Todd Lambert and Dana Turner. Mrs. Turners legacy can be best described as a Proverbs 31 woman. Her first and foremost responsibility was to the Lord Jesus Christ and that was very evident in her life. The mass of lives she impacted will never be known here on this earth for her love of Jesus will continue to be passed on for generations to come. As memories come forth, it is well stated she maintained an honorable reputation of respect for her husband that had gone on to be with Jesus many, many years earlier. The love for her Church was never failing. Even in her illness, she continued to mail cards and prepare food for church families and functions. Faye may have given physical birth to only one son, but she prayed and cared for many, many more children. Regardless if she was blood kin or not, she was always known as "Aunt Faye" to everyone. She may have been the only child of Virgil and Gladys Kerr but the bonds she maintained with cousins she grew up with, family and friends through the years were that of a sister. We will always remember her and our lives have been impacted by the relentless prayers for us all. Thank you Jesus for sending her to us and now as our hearts break, we are rejoicing that she is at peace, home at last. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lower Cane Creek Cemetery Fund.
