Funeral service for Flora Lee "Leedee" Smith, 85, of Anniston, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Franklin McGee officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. til 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Jacksonville Health & Rehab. Survivors include her husband, of 40 years, Rufus D. "Rooster" Smith; four daughters, Johnnie Lee Hopper, Ann Rozell, Sallie Willis and Donna Jo Fowler; two sons, Donald Baker and Michael Alan Stancil; sister, Minnie Gail Criddle; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her daughter, Pat Moon, two sons, John Macon Baker and Ronald Eugene Baker. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Smith was a native of Etowah and Calhoun County. She was a member of Lincoln Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all.
