Forney Ladell McMichael, 77, better known as "Mac", was born on July 14, 1939 and passed away on February 24, 2017 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur McMichael, and his mother, Juanita Simpson McMichael. Forney graduated from Alexandria High School in 1957. He served in the Navy for 10 years as an Aviation Fire Control Technician. He served as a Pastor at the following Woodlawn Church of God, Weaver Church of God and Crumleys Chapel. As an entrepreneur, he has owned and operated several businesses: McMichael Plumbing, Quality Plumbing and Septic, both in Atlanta Georgia, Macs Vacs, Cheaha Golf Carts, TV 24, in Oxford, and The Ranburne and Center Stockyards. Survivors are his wife, Ronda Woodard McMichael; his sons, Jimmy Duanne McMichael (Lynn), Steven Wade McMichael (Karen), Parrish Scott McMichael and Jarrod Mack McMichael; one daughter, Michele McMichael Carlisle; his brother, Bernie McMichael; two sisters, Jackie McMichael Willingham and Denise McMichael; his grandchildren, Kerry Outten, Katherine Watts McMichael, Maggie Lynn McMichael, Kaleb Hunter Godfrey, Jacob Forrest Godfrey and John Grayson Godfrey. A visitation will be at Word Alive International Outreach on Thursday March 2, 2017, beginning at 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service at noon. Miller Funeral Home 256-831-4611
