Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Hurst Kelley, 99, will be Friday, February 2, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Garry Ragsdale officiating with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Kelley passed on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab. Mrs. Kelley is survived by her daughter, Judy K. (Larry) Howard; grandchildren, Kevin Woodard, and Misty Kelley (Kevin) Hale; great-grandchildren, Emily Woodard, and Jacob Woodard; niece, Jackie Fuller; and nephew, Gary Hurst. Pallbearers will be Gerry Curvin, Roscoe Griffith, Clay Smith, Buddy Dobbs, Ray Cash, and Pete Medders. Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, Roy T. Kelley; mother, Fannie Clark Hurst; father, Jacob Allen Hurst; son, Gerald Hurst Kelley; and brothers, Earvin and Mervin Hurst. Mrs. Kelley was a native of Barfield. A member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church since 1935 where she was a member of the Ladies II Sunday School Class. The family wants a special thanks to her caregivers, Charlotte M. Curvin, Pat Irwin, Roscoe Griffith, and the staff of Jacksonville Health and Rehab. Condolences may be left at www.chapelhillfh.com
