The funeral service for Mrs. Frances L. Sanford, of Anniston, will be at noon on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Dr. Billy Harris and the Reverend James Cohorn officiating. Music will be provided by Dr. Randy Postell. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. Mrs. Sanford passed away on February 18, 2015. She was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church and had retired from the Calhoun County Board of Education. Mrs. Sanford is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sanford; son, James Robert "Bob" Sanford; a great grandson, Brady Lumpkin. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Smith; her husband, Don, of Anniston; son, Gary Sanford and his wife, Connie, of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Lisa Fuller and her husband, Tony, Jill Scott and her husband, Rod, Jessica Smith; great grandchildren, Andrew Scott, Caden Lumpkin and Noah Scott. The family would like to give special heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Sanford's caregivers, Tangie, Brenda, Kristin and Tina, also to Gentiva Hospice.
