Frank J. Keahey went to be with our Lord June 1, 2014. He was born to the late Edward and Myrtle Keahey on September 28, 1942 in Atlanta, Ga. He was an active member of the Oxford United Methodist Church and a retired owner of Franken's Furniture in Anniston. Upon retirement Frank and his bride of 42 years, Winn, moved to Spanish Fort to be near their daughter, Lana and son-in-law, Scott Nelson. He loved fishing, hunting, cooking and spending time with family and friends. He loved his Lord and Savior most of all. Survivors include his children, Lana Nelson, of Daphne, Tracy Jetter and Wade Keahey, of Newnan, Ga.; grandchildren, Amanda, Kyle, Nicholas and Amy; loving sisters, Wanda Haygood and Beverly Watkins and brothers Dura and Tim Keahey. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Ty Keahey, grandson, Mathew and brother, Eddie Keahey. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014, at First United Methodist Church in Oxford. A celebration of Frank's life will be held in Daphne at Bay Front Park at a later date.
