Funeral service for Fred K. Gann, 82, will be Friday, April 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel, with the Rev. Alton Parris, the Rev. Michael Sanderson and the Rev. Carey Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. Mr. Gann died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Gadsden RMC. He is survived by his wife of 62, years Christine P. Gann, of Jacksonville; his daughter, Windy K. (Max) Snider, of Jacksonville; his son, Kenneth Gann, of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Kevin (Brandy) Gann, Justin (Linda) Crenshaw and Kayla Canada, all of Jacksonville; one great-grandson, Trenton Canada; his sister, Becky (Harvey) Smith, of Jacksonville; his brother, Junior (Barbara) Gann, of Jacksonville and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Charles Parker, Mike Ford, Charles Long, Drennon Smith, Ronnie Nasworthy and Alex Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be the Rev. Henry Smith and the Rev. Gene Bledsoe. Mr. Gann loved to referee basketball games, judge horse shows and attend Emmanuel Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bunk" and Maudie Gann and a sister, Judy Smith.
