Funeral service for Mrs. Freddie "Fredia" M. Pruitt, 75, will be Friday, September 18, 2015, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Cox and Pastor James Phillips will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Pruitt passed away on Tuesday at her residence. Survivors include her husband, James Pruitt; sister, Faye Milam; step- sons, Doug (Denise) Pruitt and James Kenneth Pruitt; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kevin Feheley, Joe Olivas, Steve Ogan, Steve Kerns, Edward Smedely and Steve Sanders. Mrs. Pruitt was a native of Blount County and moved to Anniston in 1980. Mrs. Pruitt worked at Oxford Family Practice working for Dr. Vance Moore. She also worked at Regional Medical Center and Stringfellow Memorial Hospital as a Scrub Tech. Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her, daughter, Gina Lynn Harding; parents, Ike and Jessie Wallace; brothers, Jackie Wallace, J.L. Wallace and a sister, Bonnie Lowe.
