Funeral service for Freddie Johnson, 76, will be on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Kingston Baptist Church where the Rev. Byron White is Pastor and the Rev. L.L. Jacobs, officiating. Interment will follow in Kingston Church Cemetery in Alpine. Mr. Johnson passed away on May 23, 2017. Mr. Johnson will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. There will be No Public Viewing. The family will receive friends this evening from 4 - 6. Mr. Johnson graduated from Gadsden Community College and Alabama Community College. He retired from Crown Textile and also later worked at Talladega Nursing Home. Survivors include his children, Victor (Renee) Jemison, Gregory (Jennifer) Johnson, Kimberly Johnson and Joseph (Faith) Johnson; grandchildren, Courtney Young, Raven Truss, Joseph Johnson, Victor Jemison Jr. and Jaaliyah Johnson; other relatives and friends.
