A service for Ms. Gena "Elizabeth" Lynn Whitt Smith, 40, will be Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on the same day from 2 p.m. until service time. Ms. Smith passed away on March 12, 2017. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Joseph Whitt, Britney Whitt and Cody Smith; mother, Lynn Arnold; companion at heart, Keith Tibetts; sisters, April Arnold, Tiffany Norman, Melissa Deese, Christina Wildes and Marsha Burdette; brothers, Larry Whitt Jr., Shane Whitt and Jonathan Nelson; aunts, Teressa Yates and Flora Jenkins; uncles, John Kittle, Gary Whitt, David Whitt and Walter McDaniels; great aunts, Paula Southern, Sheila Henson, Bonnie Ballinger, Joyce Williams and Helen Bullock; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Ricky Arnold; father, Larry Whitt Sr.; brother, Clay Arnold; grandparents, Edward and Betty Kittle, and Marvin and Jeanette Whitt; great- grandparents, Ed and Vergie Turner, Lois Sams and Ernest "Doc" Kittle. Ms. Smith was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. Ms. Smith loved her Dr. Pepper, watching "bobot" movies with her babies, music, going to the dirt track, Alabama football, and most importantly, spending time with her family.
