Funeral service for Gene Ingram, 70, will be today, September 13, 2016, 11 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Cox will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Ingram passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016, doing what he loved with his friends at their hunting camp in Union Springs. Survivors include his son, Matt Ingram (Bianca); daughter, Beth Higginbotham; son, Brandon Ingram; grandchildren, Jackson Ingram, Parker Ingram, Crawford Ingram, Cody Higginbotham, Layla Higginbotham; and a sister, Nell Suggs. Mr. Ingram was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Ingram; parents, Willis and Sadie Ingram; four step-brothers and a step-sister. Mr. Ingram was a very avid outdoors-man, and loved hunting and fishing with his sons and grandchildren.
