A Visitation for George E. Walters, 83, will Thursday, September 1, 2016, from 6 - 8 p.m. with closing remarks by Dr. John White at 8 p.m. Mr. Walters passed away on Monday at his residence. Survivors include son, Dennis Walters (Esther); son, Doug Wright (Teresa); daughter, Janeen Bond (Mike); son, Tommy Denton (Debbie); daughter, Wanda Randall (Greg); son, Bart Denton; daughter, Jessica Horn; grandchildren, Stephanie Walters, Douglas Walters, Logan Garris, Melissa Strubank, Rebecca Bond, Michael Bond, Chelsea Smith, Patrick Denton, Scott Denton and Justin Randall, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Walters was a resident of Oxford. He served in the U.S. Marine during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Walters was retired from Lockheed Martin.
