A service of celebration and remembrance will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, for George "Shortcut" Frick, 68, at Union United Methodist Church in Wellington at 2 p.m. Shortcut is survived by sons, Dominic, his caregiver, Jonathan Swanson, and George Paul Frick; his sister, Alice Breigweg, and longtime biker friend, E.J. Thompson. He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Stowe; his brother Paul Frick and his parents. He was born on December 20, 1947. He served in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years at General Dynamics in Anniston, Alabama. Shortcut was active in AA for many years and was a mentor to those that were trapped in addiction. He was cofounder and the first president of the Holy Riders Motorcycle Ministry. Shortcut enjoyed riding motorcycles with us and now he is riding with God.
