Georgia E. Webb, 97, of Cranbury, N.J. passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 25, 2015, surrounded by family. Born and raised in Alabama, Mrs. Webb moved to Cranbury, N.J. 12 years ago to live with her daughter, Charlie. While living in Anniston, Alabama, Mrs. Webb was a self-employed home health aide and member of Bethel Baptist Church. After moving to New Jersey, she became a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Hightstown, N.J. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, and was an avid animal lover. Predeceased by her parents, George and Rachel Harris; her husband, Charlie Webb and her daughter, Rachel Williams; Mrs. Webb leaves behind to carry on her legacy, her children, Cassie Webb, of Hempstead, N.Y.; Charlie Webb, of Cranbury, N.J., Annie Juanita Webb, of Georgetown, Texas, Bertha Pruitt (William), of Upper Marlboro, Md., Christine Webb, of Tucson, Ariz., George Smith (Carey), of Aurora, Colo.; her brother, John Smith, of Cleveland, Ohio; her grandchildren, Phoebe Smith, Kobie Pruitt, William Dean Smith, Priscilla Ann Smith, Loretta Owens and Wanda Faye Freeman; her several great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 21 Reverend William L. Powell Drive, Hightstown, N.J. 08520. Interment will follow at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, N.J. Family and friends may call on Thursday October 1, 2015, from 10-11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Webb's memory to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 21 Rev William Powell Dr, Hightstown N.J. 08520. Arrangements are under the direction of the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, N.J.
