Geraldine Hebert McClellan, born October 6, 1927, in Dequincy, Louisiana passed away peacefully on October 17, 2017 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. Gerry grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she attended Lake Charles School of Business. While serving as a USO girl to our United States' soldiers, she met the love of her lifetime, James Elbert McClellan. Six months after meeting, and with the promise to her mother that they would return to her home state of Louisiana every summer, James Elbert married Geraldine Hebert on November 6, 1945. They moved to Anniston, Alabama where they lived and raised a family for 48 years together as husband and wife. Gerry was a kind, dedicated, and selfless sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her joy in life was bringing her family together to laugh and watch them grow. In her last moments of life, she quoted, "I am blessed." Gerry is preceded in death by her loving husband, James. She is survived by her sister, Myrna (Tony) Hebert Alverez; three sons, James (Anita) McClellan, David (Rhonda)McClellan, and Steven (Terri) McClellan; a daughter, Sheron McClellan; four grandsons, Dr. Scott (Kelli) McClellan and Dr. Brad (Rebecca) McClellan, Tyler Kramer, and Michael (Bethany) McClellan; three granddaughters, Ashley (Mark) Selway, Sarah McClellan, and Lauren McClellan; two great granddaughters, Allison Selway and Amelia McClellan; and five great grandsons, Brandon Selway, Justin Selway, Thomas McClellan, Harrison McClellan, and Munro McClellan.
