A funeral service for Mrs. Ginger L. Hemphill will be Sunday, February 22, 2015, at 2 p.m. at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. Interment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 4 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Hemphill passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Anniston, Mrs. Hemphill was a 2004 graduate of Jacksonville State University. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leona Ruth and Thomas Kirkham McEwen. Survivors include her husband, Frederick L. Hemphill; children, Charles Edwin "Chase" Fair III and his wife, Corey, Ashley Fair Alexander and her husband, Russell, of Nashville, Tenn., Anne Louise Carr of Bluffton, S.C., Benjamin F. Hemphill, of Mobile and Carlton Harris Hemphill, of Hot Springs, S.D.; grandchildren, Logan Alexander, Shianne Fair, Jacob Alexander, William Carr, Cooper Alexander, Henry Carr and Noah Fair and her beloved animals, Sparky and Pistalle. Pallbearers will be Russell Alexander, Logan Alexander, Jacob Alexander, Cooper Alexander, Stacey Killian and Bob Curtis. Honorary pallbearer will be Noah Fair. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The Animal Shelter of Calhoun County, 1201 Parkwood Drive, Anniston, AL 36201.
