Funeral service for Ginger Stone, 74, will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017, 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Bro. Joey Bentley will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Stone passed away on Sunday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her step-brothers, Bobby Richard Sorrells (Debbie), Hugh Sorrells; sisters-in-law, Virginia Drake, Claudette Richardson; daughter-in-law, Pam Stone; daughter, Jinnia Flynn (Daniel); son, Jim Stone (Linda); daughter, DeAnna Heinen (Chris); 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Daniel Flynn, Daniel Flynn Jr, Chris Heinen, Scott Flynn, Bobby Stone, Tyler Stone, Justin Weir and Wade Lowman. Mrs. Stone was a California native, and a resident of Oxford for the past 40 years. She was a daycare provider for years. Mrs. Stone was a very devoted, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.C. Cooper and Johnnie K Sorrells; husband of 50 years, Clifford H. Stone; brother, Teddy K Cooper; sister, Polly Bass and a son, Billy A Stone.
