Eastaboga - Funeral services for Rev. Glenn Bentley, 62, of Eastaboga, will be Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Bynum. Dr. Roy Cordle, the Rev. Jason Grissom and Randall Bentley will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bentley will lie in state at the church one hour before service time. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 until 8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home. Rev. Bentley passed away on Sunday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Carol Bentley; daughter, Kristi Bentley Daniel (Jeff); son, Patrick Bentley (Christy); grandchildren, Hannah Daniel, Olivia Daniel, Braxton Bentley, Sawyer Bentley, Lydia Bentley; brother, Randall Bentley (June); sister, Vivian Bentley; sister, Darlene Buchanan; sister, Sherry Sanders (Steve); several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be, Michael Parris, Craig Bentley, Russell Buchanan, Rusty Mundy, Nick Mundy, Tyler Robinson, and Chris Gordon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Braxton Bentley, Sawyer Bentley and the employees of Bentley Flooring Company. Rev. Bentley was a resident of Eastaboga. He owned and operated Bentley Flooring Company for over 37 years. Rev. Bentley has also pastored several local churches including Mamre Baptist Church, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Wellington First Baptist Church and Wayside Baptist Church. He also served also as Interim Pastor for several churches in Calhoun, Etowah, Randolph and Talladega Counties. He was a avid Auburn Football fan and World of Out Law Sprint Car Race fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, sisters, and studying in the bible. "FOR THE RECORD" The Rev. Glenn Bentley was predeceased by his parents, Williard and Virdia Bentley.
