Graveside service for Glenn Nicholas "Nick" Arkontaky, 62, will be 2 p.m., October 2, 2016 at Eulaton Methodist Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Gibson officiating. A celebration of life will follow at 3 p.m. at Saks Community Center. Mr. Arkontaky passed away Thursday at his home surrounded by his family. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Betty Keasler Arkontaky; step- children, Jennifer Bishop and Cristy Bishop; grandchildren Abby King, Ally King and Easton Abernathy; mother-in-law, Ann Keasler; uncle, Bart Trammell; brothers-in-law, Brett Keasler (Robin), Tim Keasler (Stefanie) and Shane Keasler (Cathy); nephew, Chris Ledbetter (Jennifer); niece, Lorrie Beth White (Ben); great- nephews, Hunter Pointer, Alex Ledbetter and Nathan White; great- nieces, Ashley Pointer, Alexis Gill and Diamond Ledbetter, and his American bulldog, Lizzy. Mr. Arkontaky is preceded in death by his parents Charles N. and Geraldine Trammell Arkontaky, and his sister, Diane Arkontaky Ledbetter. Nick graduated from Wellborn High School in 1972. He was a lifelong resident of Eulaton and a member of Eulaton Methodist Church. He worked at Monsanto for 11 years before working at Westinghouse and the Calhoun County Commission. He loved going to trade day and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, step-father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
