Funeral service for Mr. Glenn Steven Childs, 53, will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at 12 noon at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel in Jacksonville. Capt. Bert Lind will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Seven Springs Cemetery. Mr. Childs died on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at his residence. He is survived by his parents, Harold and Gail Childs, of Jacksonville; one sister, Robin (Steven) Spoon, of Jacksonville; two brothers, Randy (Melita) Childs, of Pleasant Valley and Nathan (Bessie) Childs, of San Diego, Calif.; two nieces, Jennifer (Jeffry) Cobb, of Alexandria and Stephanie Spoon, of Jacksonville; four nephews, Nathan Lee Childs, of San Diego, Calif., Andrew Childs, of San Diego, Calif., Kirklin Childs, of Pleasant Valley and Colton Childs, of Pleasant Valley; two great- nieces, Addison Cobb and Aubrie Cobb and one great-nephew, Ryan Cobb. Pallbearers will be family members and friends. Mr. Childs was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Alice Childs and Raphael and Myrtle Hughey. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 420 Noble Street, Anniston, AL 36201. Online condolences to the family at K.L.
