Funeral service for Mr. Glover Holiday, 71, will be Saturday at 12 p.m. at Sweet Home Baptist Church, Silver Run Community. Pastor Isaac Chappell will officiate. Burial in Jenifer Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour before services. He passed February 3, 2015 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Glover Holiday was an employee at M & H Valve Co. and retired after 30 years of service. In memory of Glover Holiday, memorials can be given to Sweet Home Baptist Church Building Fund. A project dear to Mr. Holiday's heart. The Holiday Family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Noland R.M.C. Hospital and family friends for their many expressions of love and support. Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia Holiday; son, Major (Ret.) Henry Anthony (Edith D.) Ratliff USMC, Haslet, Texas; daughter, Netherland Holiday, of Oxford; brother, Larry Holiday of Munford; sisters, Edna Archie of Yorktown, Va., Esther Holiday of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mary (Benny) of Montgomery-Eastaboga and Arsula Curry, of Munford; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
